Patch review metadata

Attach review status, tags, owner notes, or pipeline fields to a version without uploading a new image.

Goal

OPSCloud Run validated

Add review, ownership, and pipeline fields to an existing version without creating a new image.

Setup

  • Use Save Metadata Patch or Save Metadata Patch Extended.
  • Patch only JSON-safe metadata. Never store token values.
  • Use this for review_status, owner, tags, notes, and production identifiers.

Steps

  1. Paste version_id d325c84f-6c73-4ede-8749-aa30c52c7157.
  2. Set a small JSON patch such as review_status approved_for_docs and owner docs.
  3. Queue and verify ok true in status output.
  4. Use Asset Summary or List Versions to confirm the patch is visible.

Validated run

  • Cloud Run prompt a716dfae-da31-4fdc-96f8-66ed0afdaac0 patched tutorial version metadata successfully.
  • Cloud Run prompt 45b11c6b-6b0b-444b-8380-a2a40397d180 also updated asset-level fields successfully.

Next

Clean up versions

Remove disposable test versions only after confirming they are safe to delete.
