Promote a chosen branch

Mark the chosen branch version as current so the whole team loads the approved image by default.

Goal

TEAMCloud Run validated

Make the chosen branch the current version so future current-version loads resolve to it.

Setup

  • Promote only after compare/review.
  • Use exact version IDs in the promote node.
  • After promotion, current-version loads should return the approved version.

Steps

  1. Set asset_id to 32631e1c-411a-4ffb-a471-783d5b3e4263.
  2. Set version_id to 94b21b38-7a31-47f1-87b9-4ed947807afc.
  3. Queue once and verify the status output.
  4. Load current version again to confirm the promoted version is returned.

Validated run

  • Cloud Run prompt f28d9b12-7736-43ee-8f8c-befeaeec4f1b promoted version 94b21b38-7a31-47f1-87b9-4ed947807afc successfully.
